Crumbling walls of a ruin lost in time,
Banshee's screams echoing throughout the dark remains of a corridor.
Kings long dead sit upon thrones of purest gold,
Queens of ages encrusted in jewels so grand.
I follow laughs of young princesses eras old,
And the shouts of a fight from long gone princes.
The wild snorts of warhorses from the courtyard,
As the soldiers mount their backs.
A fantasy world that was once reality,
Royalty and commoners once rejoicing together.
Rejoicing in their victory over the savages;
The cries of mourners as the kingdom fell.
