This is the way we come & go
Never going far & falling slow
This is the place we call our home
Living in the pain we keep as our own
Taking in all this, that is real
Never knowing exactly how to feel
Feelings in the way that come & go
Slowly falling as we grow
This is the pain that is ours
Being mad at the things that seem to scar
Living in a house with broken walls
This is ours, this is all
Never knowing exactly how they feel
Doubting ourselves on what is real
Wondering if we will be
Thinking next life we can see
Knowing how it is today
Cuz this is the way
This is the way we come & go
Never going far & falling slow
This is the place we have come to call ours
Living in the pain that breeds new scars

excellent write. i liked the 3rd from last stanza the best.
"This is the pain that is ours
