Live Life to the Fullest

Contributed by Seans_Girl on Saturday, 3rd July 2004 @ 11:37:14 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Flowers bloom in a special season of the year
Bringing happiness and lots of cheer
But some things do not turn out as they appear
Because we live life like we don't want to be here
Tragedy forces us to fall
We no longer believe that we know it all
But when we realize this it is all too late
We have lost one that we appreciate
Words cannot express the sadness that we feel
We think to ourselves, this cannot be real
We hide from our instincts, thinking we can't deal
But somehow we retain life by opening life's windowsill
Love and laughter soon return
We continue life with the wisdom we've learned
But still there are flashbacks that we will see
For we linger on with the everlasting memory
