I miss you

Contributed by kori31 on Saturday, 3rd July 2004 @ 11:17:42 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

Can't believe you're not here
to wipe away my tears
can't believe that you left
left a hole in my chest
I could have done more
to help with your pain
but my anger pushed me away
my only choice to go astray
I wish I could re-do
the last days that you were here
I would give anything at all
for a moment with you near
I hope you know I love you
and how much I did care
now you're gone and I can't tell you
I'm talking to the air
so please hear my words of love
hope you're smiling from above
hear every crying tear
fall gently in your ear
I love you forever
and miss you even more
never forget what you tought me
until you open the door

I am so sorry. Losing someone is never easy. She does hear you up there.

Smiles,
Rita

beautiful poem, very sad! Im sure they know you love them! Its hard when you didnt get to say goodbye. I didnt get to say goodbye to my grandpa, or my friend travis who died in Iraq about 3 monthes ago at 19. Losing someone is hard, but gets better in time! Just think of it this way, at least you know you have a guardian angel up there looking over you!
