My heart is stone and still it trembles
The world I've known is lost in shadows
My eyes are blind and still I see
The destruction I've left behind me
My soul is empty and still I feel
My fantasy world seems much more real
My voice has died and still I sing
I feel like I've lost everything
My heart is stone and still it trembles
In you presence, my wall crumbles
My eyes are dry but shed a tear
I'm not afraid but still I fear
My soul is gone and still I fly
You lift me up from where I lie
My life is done and I survive
You are my strength, you keep me alive
You're everything I'm fond of
My heart is stone and still I love.
