You were still so young,
Just stepping out onto life’s rung,
Crossing the road when the car hit,
Your delicate insides just split.
You went through so much,
But in the end you lost touch,
With life because of a hit & run,
That bastard had covered up your sun.
It took you Six long years to die,
Everybody was asking why?
Why the driver didn’t confess,
After all he was the cause of this mess.
He left you dependant on machines,
So much more of life you should have seen,
You died at the tender age of Twenty –four,
He may of well pushed you through the door.
Gary you are missed in our hearts,
But even though we are all miles apart,
We all hold you forever dear,
The memory of you will always be near.

This is so sad Krissy. I had a friend that was hurt in a horrible vehicle accident and lived in a nursing home the rest of her life, unable to speak or move. I am so sorry.
