A candy coated life,
with painted lips,
and sweet smelling perfume.
A gingerbread house
and a smile of gold.
Night dawns,
and evil comes out to play.
The scream of terror
rings throughout the night.
A candy coated life
now painted red.
A gaping hole
in this twisted existence
we call life.
No painted lips,
no sweet perfume.
But the gingerbread house
still stands;
hinting that everything is ok.
A perfectly fake bright shadow
of a girl.
A girl holding her head down
staring at the ground.
With a smile of gold.
