Hearts are breaking
Hear the sound
Bones are shattering
Hit the ground
Lies are whispering
Puncture the skin
As we give in to the darkness
And wretchedness wins
Demons are clawing
Their way into minds
We just sit back and watch
‘Cause we’ve missed all the signs
That our world is crumbling
Into pieces of hate
And our people are dieing
But now it’s too late
‘Cause we’ve lost all our morals
And religion is stale
As our hearts fill with emptiness
And foolishness prevails
We’re lost in ourselves
With nothing to lose
But our hopes and our dreams
And reality too
We’re fading to black
Because this is the end
And there’s no looking back
But we forgot to begin
