angels set down their swords

i looked deep
into your eyes......hoping, and hiding.
i found strange animals there,
resting and playing gracelessly.

i found a fountain there,
close to your heart,
and i drank the water from it, feeling refreshed.

as i slept in your soul,
i heard voices singing songs of angels.
i saw feathers
floating down from the sky.
i felt gazes, i was out of place. (i felt fine.)

your hair keeps me here,
blonde and forever.
your eyes hold me down,
deep and torrid.
your commands bathe me in contempt,
tearing me to feel.
