And all that I am
For I know... what I have done...
I have done you wrong
But believe me... when I say...
These things that need to be said
And how sorry... I am
Please... forgive me...
And all that I am
I have shaken...
The very foundation...
On which our friendship stands
I have... shattered all the faith that you once had...
And all the trust in me...
I don't want to ever hurt you again
Please... forgive me...
And all that I am
Please... accept this sorrow
From deep down in my heart
'Cause I know in your eyes...
I have broken the trust that we had...
And not just stretched it... and bent it out of shape...
But have broken it... by being the untrustworthy person I am
It would seem that I have hurt you... my friend... again
Please... forgive me...
And all that I am
And see the inside of me...
The peace that has been broken
And the blackened heart I would give...
If I could take it all back... in a heartbeat and then...
Please... forgive me... my friend...
And all that I am...
For I am nothing more than just a person...
A human being...
Not perfect by any means...
A person it would seem... that...
Has taken away... a part of you...
And has left you shattered and broken
and so... so blue
Oh... how I love you...
You're all the world to me...
I need to hear your forgiveness...
I'm not a begging you... but...
Won't you... please.... forgive me...

Your sincerity is evident. The remorse you feel does you credit.
But this strikes me as a first draft. I'd try a little editing with a view to tightening it up.
