A drop (villanelle)

Swiftly flow upward to swear


Opposite to our men s efforts


What drop down are lots of crimes


Hares flee but tigers flit


Truths are hard to carry or omit


Swiftly flow upward to swears


Hells are cups full to brims


Life is like lambs that aren’t strong


What drop down are lots of crimes


Things still are real but not thin


Shams are Eves with her doors to open


Swiftly flow upward to swear


Still have faiths on rules that are firm


Planets have to move round the orbits


What drop down are lots of crimes


I keep my moneys in lazy bins


Life is to swim in poor pools


Swiftly flow upward to swear


What drop down are lots of crimes
