Wandering heartbeats now so lost in time.
Beating out tempos that may have been lost.
Trying to regain whatever the cost.
Hearing within them this long lonely rhyme.
Seeing the danger and wanting to climb.
Wanting no more than to thaw out the frost.
Freeing your heart from the pit it’s been tossed.
Waiting and watching the bells as they chime.
Let the things go that are holding you down.
Give unto you the things you need to live.
Don’t turn around for the past is now gone.
Rise to your feet and then straighten your crown.
Know what you need and prepare then to give.
That is the choice that will carry you on.
