If life were meant to be perfect
Then I don't have a life
If life were meant to be perfect
I'd bleed without a knife
If life were meant to be perfect
I might not be this way
If life were meant to be perfect
My problems would all go away
If life were meant to be perfect
There'd be no more screams and shouts
If life were meant to be perfect
Humans would have no more bouts
If life were meant to be perfect
It would be heaven on Earth
If life were meant to be perfect
Our lives might have more worth
But I guess it isn't so
Life isn't meant to be perfect
We all wish it were thought

Good job. But somehow I don't think I would wish life were perfect. Where would the mystery be... the enchanting questions... and where would our need for words and each other be. I would never give up beauty and pain in written word for perfection.
