My Dream place

Contributed by TheNextRobertFrost on Tuesday, 29th June 2004 @ 09:13:05 PM in AEST
Topic: NaturePoetry

I come to my dream place every day after school.
To lay in the fields.
To relax, get away from the world, and watch the butterflys flutter,
To look at the flowers glowing in the light and see the buttercups butter.
And at night i watch the fire flieis dance,
And watch the deer's last prance.
And stop to hear the last breeze reap.
And let the birds last songs put me to sleep.

This paints a very nice pic of a meadow or just living in the country. I know if I had a place like this, I'd probably get more inspiration, too. I liked this, it made me feel good. And isn't that what poetry is all about? Very nice write!
