The last leaf is falling
To the ground
I hear the end calling
What a horrible sound
And the last straw has broken the camel’s back
There’s no more needles left in the haystack
It’s all over now
It’s all over now
I hear the end calling
What a horrible sound
Nothing left to do or say
So much nothing is in my way
What happened to my joy?
My life’s empty with so much junk
My world’s filling up with a void
Now I see, joy died
Joy died
The darkness blinds my eyes
Now I see
That I never mattered
Not even to me
All the candles are now burning out
I can’t say much but I can still shout
It’s all over now
It’s all over now
I hear the end calling
What a horrible sound
Joy died
