Your Lies

Contributed by allymp on Tuesday, 29th June 2004 @ 12:23:50 PM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

All your lies are killing me
They've hurt me bad it's true

I told you to let me be
But that you couldnt do

Now I'm stuck in a corner
Sitting all alone

No friends to comfort me
Because a friend you are no more

I thought you were different
That we were best friends to the end

But I guess I was wrong
Thats the message you have sent

I wont make this mistake again
Not after what you've done

So I'll just leave
I guess that you have won

It was good while it lasted
But it will last no more

I'll just stay in my safe corner
And cry

Your ending had me offguard, and I like that, as it portrays stark emotion, connected with the cold-blooded response to deception.

You write well.

Thanks for sharing it.

Good write. Don't let people bring you down though. You deserve better :-)

Have your cry then move on.
No one can bring anyone down.
Unless you let them then your bound.
Bound in your sorrows left to dround.
Good job your anger came through well.
Sinned
