Whispers
The soft wind whispers your name to me
I hear your quiet call in every roll of the sea
Lonely whispers coming from the clouds on high
Hopeful glad messages from the deep blue sky
Whispers so loud my heart is soaring, flying
Harsh sad words making me lonely, crying
Morning light whispers of love so calm and serene
Noon murmurs make my mind open and clean
Quiet whispers of new hope, coming tomorrow
Dark dusk calls of sad ness and sorrow
New whispers of heart wrenching pain and tears
The soft wind will whisper your name for years
But as long as I can hear your quiet words I live
And soft whispers of my love for you I freely give.

That is beautiful. Yet there was a longing that seems to give it soul. |
