My Only Fear

Contributed by adamsbabygurlie on Monday, 28th June 2004 @ 11:22:24 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

You know one of my fears
Is to have falling tears

Fall down my face
When someone takes your place

I thought I had lost you
And you did too

I can not reach the finish line
Without you if you’re no longer mine

I wanna deliver a message to you
That my love is so true

I cried so much
Cause I could not feel your touch

But now you’re mine
So I have reached that finish line

You’re always there
To show you really care

I know my only fear
Is to have a falling tear

I thought my world was gonna crumble
When I fell to a tumble

When we said good-bye
I knew it all was a lie

I no longer cried
And no longer hide

I show people the real me
So let this be

So listen with your ear
And believe that I am near

I thought I was in to deep
That I was gonna take the leap

But you came back to me
Now we’ll forever be

You know my only fear
Is to have a falling tear

Nice rhyme and structure. I like the two line verse, and you used it very well.
