Killing The Pain

Contributed by Seans_Girl on Monday, 28th June 2004 @ 10:37:52 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

She sits surrounded by people,
But she is alone in this place
Trying to choke back the tears,
Just longing for his embrace

Remembering all they had,
The tears tumble down like rain
She has another drink,
Trying to drown her pain

She thinks of all the good times,
The quiet walks through the park
But now that he has left her,
Her world seems totally dark

He wanted to leave her,
It was not her choice at all
What would happen in those bad times
When he wouldn't be able to break her fall

She moves to the room's center,
Her judgement blocked by gloom
She points a gun to her head,
A bang silences the room

broken heart, sorrow clouded by drink, isolation swallowed by lead, this would have made an awesome dark poem, but everyone chooses which catagory suits them. I know of the pain of betrayal, to be dropped as if from a height, and ending up with a shattered future, so I'm hoping you will be able to put this behind you and move on, I espeicially hope you find the one that is right for you in everyway.

Please look after yourself and take care

every stanza was fanatastic to read!
but i like the last one best.
"she move to te room's center,
her judgement blocked by gloom
she points the gun to her head,
a bang silence in the room"
... i just tink that's so powerful!
i can't even begin...
