Don’t look, pretty princess,
You aren’t good enough to see.
Don’t look, pretty princess,
You aren’t good enough for he.
Do tell, pretty princess,
Who told you these lies?
Do tell, pretty princess,
Don’t hide your blushing eyes.
Don’t look, pretty princess,
There’s nothing there for you.
Don’t look, pretty princess,
Such beauty, so pure, should be looked on by few.
Do tell, pretty princess,
Who soiled their untainted lips?
Do tell, pretty princess,
With these ridiculous quips?
Don’t look, pretty princess,
Lower those lashes,
Don’t look, pretty princess,
Or suffer strawberry gashes.
Do tell, pretty princess,
Just who lied to you?
Do tell, pretty princess,
With compliments of your beauty, blue?
Don’t look, pretty princess,
You, he doesn’t see.
Don’t look, pretty princess,
Together you will never be.
Do tell, pretty princess,
Why think such things?
Do tell, pretty princess,
Thoughts of golden engagement rings.
Don’t look, pretty princess,
You aren’t good enough to see.
Don’t look, pretty princess,
You aren’t good enough for he.
Understand this, pretty princess, dear.
You aren’t good enough for him, I fear.
Torn together and stitched apart,
His beauty is a work of art.
Much to good for the likes of you,
Pretty princess, with your smile so blue.
