Tribute to the Silent Death

Contributed by TheLastStringCut on Monday, 28th June 2004 @ 07:14:40 PM in AEST
Topic: fantasy

The resounding ring of a metal thing
Whistling through the air
Strikes the guard from the dark
Ending the silent scream
To and fro the dark figures go
Knives flashing in the night
Everquiet the sound of coming death
Lives end without a fight

The tickle of steel on the neck of one
Unsuspecting guard
The darkness pierced by a crimson line
Forming a fluid arch
The figure creeps up the wall, it seems
Vanishing in mid-air
The assassin's blade never sleeps
It keeps dancing in the air

Night liquid black pain of death thanatos
Reap the soul of innocence how much the devil tolls
lift the chorus creseindo a requiem of blood
the dead they hunger merciless for your very flesh and bone
cut asunder the temporal void between the thrice planes
and leave a scar of memories encript into rotting brains....
- Devin Ragnarok.
