CHoKiNG oN WoRDS

Contributed by xslashxprettyxskinx on Monday, 28th June 2004 @ 04:53:57 PM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

These empty words spilled from my mouth
Like little drops of dried blood caught to my chapped lips
Hanging there emotionless amongst the forgotten truths
And begging to be wiped free with dirty fingertips.

They squirt from the gaping wound that is my tongue
Landing in darkened circles on my shirt
Fastening themselves to the honesty I once told
And smeared by hands covered in dishonesty and dirt.

To bury myself up to my neck
With misguided and tasteless tackiness
Only to be violently caught
To then juggle all the forgotten lied about happiness.

Fabricating stories of life and love
Choking on the words cause they're just too intense
Vividly detailed monikers on what you're mind imagined
And to you it all makes sense.

fantastico. sometimes i think the intentions for the lies are more important than the lies themselves. yet lies can be somewhat fatal on their own.
