rose colored shades

i remember
my first pair of rose colored sunglasses
and how wonderful the world looked
and i thought i was everything and i had it all
i still do
but i have lost the shades
i'm going to buy some as soon as i can

i feel, right now
like the whole world is in love
my eyes are seeing through the shades again
today is fantastic and magical
i shared a part of me with the one i love
and i am finding direction
it all seems to work

and i will scare my dragon days away
and my dreams will be treated like gold
and i will let go of the past and look into the future
and all will be well

like my rose colored shades

do not forget who u are!

Rose colored shades are great. I like what you said about dragon days. I can relate to that. Nice poem
