Lost the owls
had to start fresh and recover
the nations were weak
Tis cruel for yonder light and his pride
of what other life to the night sky and his bride
The merciless god to beg and ask all the wrong questions
How the bell tolls for my dear Ophelia
A debate of suicide or innocence
A weed to bloom or just another dream
Do what earth to life and the nursing of water
A pair of lungs to provide growth
perfect geometry to make a bridge to his lips
Through the intestines then right back out
Do what earth to life and the nursing of his pride
The merciless guardian to ask and beg all the wrong gestures
How the bell tolls for Francis

I'm unsure of who Francis is.
Interesting imagery, nontheless.
Keep writing. |
