instructions for life

Topic: SadPoetry

i hear you say it
how you want someone to love
i was all yours
but we grew apart

did we really?
i wish i knew
why we said goodbye
if i could change anything, it would be this
i really miss you
and i want you to love me again
i feel so alone

with all these words to say
and no one to say them to
and no way to say them right
to make you know my feelings

fate has us apart
but i want to be together so bad
i see you hug her and my heart is shot
executioner style
because you know i am watching
and i run and hide and cry
all my feeling converted to tears, to blood
pouring out of me

i didn't ask for my emotions to get in the way
i didn't want to even love you
but i find i am into our relationship farther than i want to be
sinking into the trap you have set
for my soul
you wear it around your neck, that tool you used
to capture me as a hostage
and i don't want you anymore if you make me cry

i don't want anyone if love is going to hurt me again and again
when will i learn?

i just want it all pure and simple again
don't you dare try and hurt me again

remember me...
