Afraid to watch the sun crash and shatter on the horizon...
I knew the sight meant that you were gone, fading into night...
When the time did come, I waited for the stars to show...
And gazed upon the reassuring sight...
Then I realized that the stars would gather, and collect....
Their light combined as one, until the sun was again revived...
And once again we'd meet in blissful minute,
In which our eyes would once more,
unite....
