Never Really There

Contributed by blackmarker on Sunday, 27th June 2004 @ 01:25:02 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

No one seems to listen
No one seems to care
Fighting invisible demons
That were never really there

Screaming, I exclaim
“Go the **** away!”
Haunting, blank stares
Follow me today

Like a dirty sheep
Unwanted by the rest
Behind me they creep
I’m their unholy guest

To be followed by such things
Their pale, sunken eyes
Pain, the only feeling they bring
It hurts so much to cry

It hurts to let these tears
Fall slowly down my cheek
It hurts to talk of fears,
Of these we’d best not speak

The only thing I’ll say
Is no one seems to care
I turned to you for help today
But you were never there

i know right where you're comming from. i don't know your problems but i do feel your pain!
for me they either understand or they don't.
but when they understand they talk about my pain and then tell me to deal with it when i can't!
when they don't understand, they don't care, thing is they say they do so it looks like your mucked up.
when they don't even no how much pain and upset i carry on my shoulders!

well, that's what it's like for me any way. it may be different for you. i don't know, i just have a strong feeling that i can relate.

if you ever wanna talk then i'm here, ok?

best wishes,
from deathdrop.
