I saw something in me
That floated away
Something I held - Only through yesterdays
Torn and embued
With wide open hate
I stare there - As it dissipates
Slowly... my eyes find
Longing... for lost time
Only... I feel blind
Hardly... whole inside
The air feels thin
No ones around
They're all someplace - I haven't found
I can't seem
To bring my legs up
So I stand here - A motionless lump
Hold me... my apathy's
Grown cold... but you're not here to
Hold me... I'm all alone
Cause I... have hardened to stone
COCOONED - I am trying to change things, too
CONFUSED - By all the emotionless things I do
BUT YOU - In essence, are trying to bring me down
LOST THROUGH - Myself, can't swim; just drown
I'm drowning in more
Then just my thoughts
There are more openings - Than I can blot
I still don't know
The reason why
I'm alone - Pushing from the inside

I am very impressed you seem to capture the way to write a poem as it should be read and that is no easy task at least not for me lol I want to learn that, where to put a pause or lesson the impact of a word only to highten another its amazing and I loved your work!
