walk

how close to the edge of the cliff must i get
how far into the dark and mysterous cave
must i be able to feel the dragons hot breath
not knowing what my surprise will be
is there a soft landing after a short fall
or is it a hard painful fall that lasts forever
will the cave be full of crystals and glorious sights
maybe the home of a hungry vicous creature
the dragon could be offering a warm shelter
could be angry at me for getting to close to her
how far do i have to go before im rescued finally
will i reach the fork in the road and get saved
will i be focred to keep going and see what lies ahed
only thing i can do is keep walking proudly
one person could block off the fork in my road
allow me to have the exit to happiness
will my mom set her foot down and help me out
allow her two daughters to live with her
give them a happy family, a real home
foce one to leave, allow to to stay
i must keep going i have no other choice
terrified of what will happen, what ill lose
want to ttake the exit, but not my choice
keep walking, hold my head up, hope for the best
