Song of Sorrow
Here I am beside myself again
Torn apart by what I have to be
I’m tired of putting on this face
For all to see
Knowing you will never return
I cannot do this alone
Here we are to sing our song
There you are asleep again
We fight, we cry and we feel all the pain
But always nothing will be the same
Everything is so hard to overcome
We are trapped within ourselves
There is faith and hope and love
Thicker than blood, stronger than water
Here you are to hear my song
There you are asleep again
Everyday I want to let it go
Even though it must never show
You are all I contemplate
Can you hear it now
You love me make no mistake about it
Your love I have won from all others
You have heard our song
You’re awake
