please pull at the stitches

Contributed by grip-wth-broken-fingers on Saturday, 26th June 2004 @ 12:19:44 PM in AEST
Topic: AngryPoetry

why do u constantly pull at these healing wounds
they bleed again because of you
as the blood runs you watch every drop as it falls

i feel empty cold some how helpless
i cannot look you in the eye
those eyes bring back my pain inside

how can you hold your pretty head up high after what you did to me
smiled as you took my pride away from me

i,ll never forgive i try to forget
this heart will be forever cold
these thoughts will forever take control

hmmm I know what you mean... these lines called out to me as I read this. I can relate with the raw hurt, but I really like --i,ll never forgive i try to forget-- oh so true... I feel you here really deep work. A+++++
