selfstruggles

The resolute words this poetic mind owns,
Each stanza suffice with emotions call,
Yet in time words are empty, thoughts are lost,
Because in this life even a poet falls.

I humbly suggest that a true poet doesn't ever fully fall... just stumbles now and again. Sooner or later - unexpectedly, wonderfully, we right ourselves again (pun intended *smile*).
May inspiration always be a heartbeat away-

I think we all have times that words fail to come together for us. Maybe our muses take vacations too, lol. The poetic part of my brain certainly does and without me I might add.
Smiles and hugs,

Awww . . . sorry to hear that, blueheart. It's awful when writer's block hits like that. We've all gone through it at some time or another and, unpleasant as it is, it always ends :) sooner or later.
Hope it's sooner for you and you can get back on your feet so YPDC's graced with the ink from your pen once again :).

P.S. A thousand, thousand 'thank you's to you for all your nice comments, and a thousand more shames on me for neglecting to look around in your neck of the YPDC woods before now. Meh at me. |

Yes, yes..some times..I think a poet may fail in life but not in his expression..any way that depends upon the time and circumstances..

Is it failure to stop, and to catch ones breath, and so do ideas and themes run in our minds, it is not failure, merely the mind, heart, and soul catching breath so as to be in harmony.
Breath deeply, soon you will be writing your beautiful thoughts, and granting us your gifts.

*pulls you up on your feet again and dusts you off* hanna, everyone would love to have flow at each and every moment of every day until the end of time, but we have to take a breath once in a while, you have been writing so much absolutely beautiful poetry lately, this one included, that your muses are likely being like mine, taking long naps and eating all the sweets in your cupboards, when they do that i lock them in the closet and ignore them for a day or two then when i let them out they are grateful and willing to be creative again, lol, {and i use this time to watch movies or read} hugs n' love nessa
