They are such beautiful creatures,
With tiny hands & dainty features,
Little hats upon their heads,
Using flower petals for their beds.
They dance in the garden at night,
They are so small,only 6 inches in height,
You have to get so close to see,
Them running & skipping about so free.
I long to have one of my own,
Keep it as a pet until it’s full grown,
Then set it free into the sky,
Cry a tear as I say my goodbye.
I have counted 5 in all,
I’d love a friend who was so small,
They are so amazing to look at,
Watching them flee when they see a cat.
Their little wings look so delicate,
Their appearance is so immaculate,
I’ll take this secret forever with me,
That I share a garden with some Pixies.

Such a cute and sweet write for your namesake..I guess it takes a pixie to see a pixie..I've never been that fortunate..
