You’re my babes, my special Rourky,
There is so much that you have taught me,
Like to cry is not a weakness,
You show me love that leaves me speechless.
You’ve made me accept myself more,
Than I’ve ever managed before,
You have given me so much,
You gave me the moon so I could touch.
My dreams are now within my grasp,
I have a love that’s bound to last,
We have created a bond between us,
I know over me you like to fuss.
I’ve never opened my heart like this,
Never shared such a loving kiss,
Never held someone so close,
Never had this love letter to post.
You have given me so much hope,
Made me put down the end of my rope,
Shown me that life is for living,
Taught me that love is for giving.
I pray that we’ll be like this forever,
Survive anything, whatever the weather,
You’re my darling, my wonderful bloke,
You made me strong so I can face my ghosts.
