I may never have listened, did you ever ask why?
May be because even you couldn’t stop me wanting to die.
So yes I have had a bad life and so have you.
And we will if we carry on like this, me and you.
I’m sorry but we cannot have what we had.
Which is rather sad.
You need to pick yourself up, forget about me.
It’s the only way things surely can be.
I was always bad for you.
Yet you never could quite see, could you.
Slag me off as much as you like.
Call me some bent dyke.
If it makes you feel better.
Or write me some damn long letter.
Do what you will as really like you said I no longer care.
If you want I’ll lay it bare.
We cannot be,
So please come to see.
No matter what you say, it will be the same.
You’re probably thinking this is lame.
A bad attempt at covering my ‘feelings’
So but we should no longer have any dealings.
I apologise but it’s for the best.
Though you probably want to say more so you can rest.
You held me tight on Tuesday, yet I pulled away.
You know why I did that, as you asked me to say.
You believe I’m scared to feel my true emotions.
Emotions, which don’t seem to fall in place with my actions.
