What is this I hear?
What is that I see?
Imagination it cannot be,
Every sight and sound so clear.
Fateful night signed by Death,
Haunting every second of sleep,
Every thought makes me weep,
Pain constantly dulled by meth.
Every shell and every scream,
Shattersmy heart and soul,
Crying as I watch innocents crawl,
Redemption nothing but a dream.
What is this I see?
What is that Ihear?
Throwing back another beer,
Confusion now consuming me.
Whatever happened to our law?
Why are some things just?
For what hope can we lust?
If only you'd seen the horror I saw.
