I lay in bed, close my eyes,
I see you there, your deep green eyes,
I know you’ll accompany me in my dreams,
Your memory stays haunting me it seems,
Time passes, no sign of you there,
Then I wake up and you’re everywhere,
Only time I see you is when I sleep,
And when I don’t, my heart weeps,
Only the memory of you is there,
It waits until I wake up, to taunt me again,
A new day starts, I think of you straight away
I’ll never have you, so must forget you, before I go insane.
