The Road to Someone's Heart

There once was a boy who was in love.
With who, he wouldn't say.
And though he wanted to talk to her,
The words seemed far away.
He got up the nerve to ask her out,
But she refused that time.
He knew it wasn't a total loss,
'Cause he discovered she liked to rhyme.
The boy decided to send a card,
With poetry going along.
But the very next day, he got a call.
The girl, his love, was gone!
The caller said she moved away,
the boy became depressed.
The caller said, "Don't worry,
I got her forwarding address."
The next day, he got the right address,
And sent the card in a sac.
He sent it not expecting much,
And was suprised when she wrote back.
She said that she didn't want to leave,
But she didn't have a choice.
She told him not to worry,
And that he should rejoice.
She knew that he liked her,
Said that she always knew.
She said the reason she wrote back was...
That she really like him too.
Ever since that fateful day,
They've vowed to never part.
And, though the trip took a while,
The boy found the road to his love's heart.
