Pleasure Of The End

Contributed by nail-to-the-head on Thursday, 24th June 2004 @ 07:06:25 PM in AEST
Topic: Suicide

I Slit my wrists
and hope to die,
Stab a knife
into my thigh,
A quick sharp twist
a cry of pain,
Dark coulds above
floods of rain,
The thought of death
seems so near,
I smile with pleasure
I have no fear,
Blood pours out
puddles on my bed,
I'll say goodbye now
for soon I shall be dead.

This was a great poem. I liked how the words flowed and rhymed. It was very dark but also good. Keep em coimg but I hope that a happier period comes into your life. Poetry is such a good way to speak what no one else can feel. Love::::Kirby

very nice rhyming...the line "dark clouds above/floods of rain" really grabbed me...this poem is really really good!
