Often I have wondered about the butterfly,
their beauty, their silence,
the way they fly, and pass thru yards and gardens,
so colorful, so magnificent,
maybe I wonder, they are the silent angels,
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ and the rain keeps falling,
Today I found myself, wiping tears from your daddy's eyes,
he has tried to hide the pain away,
oh' how life can change,
from happiness to full blown sorrow,
to grief beyond control,
to longing, to hurt, to heartache,
emptiness, to a huge void,
It hurts so bad,
my internal heart is crying beyond my control,
though I am out of tears to weep,
I feel like I've been emptied out,
and stuck in a cave only to die,
I 've struggled with this pain over and over,
somebody help this crying soul,
I feel like I've been washed in a washer and hung out to dry slowly,
I've struggled all day to help others and smile,
hiding the pain,
while my own heart is crushed,
my tears are bleeding,screaming, crying,
everyone tells me I'm so strong,
but I think death has finally taken its toll,
emptied out my soul,
this time, I am broken beyond repair,
(Oh God, I think I need an oil change)
and the rain keeps falling !

The butterflies are so silent because they have no human trauma! So much feeling in your words. May you find strength. |

Val, honey, you have to let it out sometime. Strength has nothing to do with it. No one can lose someone they love and not feel the pain and need to grieve for the loss/losses. Let it go, flush it out and then be at peace because your angels are with God. Val, you know how to reach me.
Love,
Rita |
