Lonely Path

i`ve drifted away from what i was use to
and was left by myself isolated with truth
not a single soul to sing out to
not a friend from the world tht surrounds
everyones so busy, so i turn around too

Chorus:
and make my way down a lonely path
where gravel alone confronts me
and the only tears falling are from the sky
where the wind is the only to touch me
and no-one can see the pain inside

so i hold on
and drift off away
but in the end im back where i started off anyway
i can breathe in the sadness tht lingers,
it dances alone in the night
the sadness grasps on to my fingers
as i struggle and pull with all my might

--Chorus--

but this battle is one i wont win
it sings its soul out to the world
engraving every detail with sin
into my mind
and me, by myself, i walk down the path
striving and wasting all time

fog now walks by my side
its so overpowering it hugs all of me
until i go numb from inside
feeling has left my body
it now floats to the sky above
im walking to nowhere and nobody
and i can feel the wrath of the ocean
and i see someplace far off
a gold light shines
...will i ever reach it in time?
