Gone

Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Does anyone know what you're feeling inside?
Or are you holding it all back, your feelings trying to hide.
You know it's not so easy; being someone like me.
Always running around; and afraid to be free.
Never knowing who I am, yet not liking what I see.
All these otehr girls around me are happy and merry.
My world feels dark and cold and I seem to be gettin very old.
THere's time when I feel very alone, wondering what my future holds.
Deep sorrow fills my heart. I don't know waht to say but no words tear me apart.
Like everyone has gone away, I'm stuck here alone with each passing day.
Yeah you might be hurting, but trust me you're not the only one.
Since the day you left me, I have hardly anymore fun.
Going out seems to relax my mind.
Just because I'm with people that treat me so kind.
But I have to get over you, one way or another. It'll be easy in the end.
Now that I seem to be moving on with my life; so much more seems to flow nice.
You say you've come to realize some things.
Pain is all the realizing brings.
I'm sick and tired of wanting you back.
It's your love for me that you lack.
You lie and you deciet,
What's the use I'm already beat.
You are a thing of my past
In which I fianlly realized at last;
I realize I smile more, and I cry less.
No more you, no more unhappiness

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
