Death Row

Contributed by pixie on Thursday, 24th June 2004 @ 12:16:32 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

I have killed so many in my life,
My mum, my dad and even my loving wife,
I had to fulfil my hunger to kill,
I just had to see the blood spill.

They said they all wanted the best,
That I must take my tablets & rest,
They didn’t understand my mind,
To my needs they were blind.

They didn’t accept me for me,
Why couldn’t they just let me be,
I told them I didn’t need professional help,
There was nothing wrong with my mental health.

But behind my back they plotted,
So with murder I become besotted,
I had to stop them locking me away,
In my own little world I wanted to stay.

I swallowed their meds for years,
That stopped me feeling & stopped my tears,
But one day I didn’t take the meds,
All psychotic thoughts flowed back to my head.

So as I sit on death row,
The time ticks by so slow,
I see the faces of the one’s I killed,
For their murder I have been billed.

I am to be put to death by electric chair,
But little do they know that I don’t care,
When I am dead I will be with my loved one’s,
Mum and dad will be reunited with their loving son.

Well, I viewed this as dark poetry, just my strange mind I guess. If his mum and dad went to heaven I doubt seriously he will see them again. The River Styx for him I fear.

Smiles,
Rita
