sometimes it hurts

i thought that maybe i was lucky
i thought that maybe i was yours
but my faith in you was torn in two
and now my eyes are blinded by you
i should be feeling you soft kisses
instead of the pain i bare from this knife
i should be laughin with you
instead of angry with my life.
i know that i am worth more than this
yet somehow tears escape my lonely eyes
you have vanquished my utmost love
and stabbed me with your thorns.
and everytime the pain seeps in
i stand say im too strong
but it seems that im just too tired
to stand for right or wrong
