I'm tempted to stay home today
These meetings all week have driven me insane
If I call in sick will it really be an escape
Or will it just give me more time to think of my mistakes
I'll arrive at nine already impatiently awaiting five
I can't not go, I need the money to survive
I've got to get up and get ready
It's so hard when my head feels so heavy
A cup of coffee should do the trick
It should keep me awake till the very last tick
Then it's back home and it begins
I'll stay home tomorrow, I convince myself again.
