This Cold Hell

Contributed by Mortis-Dark on Thursday, 24th June 2004 @ 12:27:20 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

This cold hell has taken its toll.
Sittin in row to pay my fee.
Never wishing to be free.
Now I see my pasts mistakes.
My life flashes within a trance.

I see a boy standing with proper posture.
I was never that boy.
The boy who succeed.
I only failed.
That time I jumped into the mass of blood.
It was for your love.
The love I never quite gotten.

Now im older and sittin in the bawls of solitude.
The one thing that holds me togther.
Is the memorys of you.
The way you killed me that red moon night.
Drug my corpse to the rivers sight.
There I floated while my flesh corroded.

Payback maybe.
Hell defiantly.
But who's to say you wont get yours.
For when I return off this rugged cross.
I will slay you.
Hunt you down like ravid mice.
Slice and dice.
Hang you on my wall.
You wil paint a pretty picture.

It is fascinating how many poems there are about the destructive qualities of love. I appreciate the true expression of hate and frustration so well captured in this poem.

Another disturbing piece that wont let me rest. Beautiful. The anger and emotion got to me quite a bit while reading this. I also liked the two simple lines. I had to read them aloud because they flowed so nicely.
"Payback Maybe
Hell Definantly"
All around this piece was really great.

Kisses,
~Soulless~
