Somewhere deep inside of him,
This life left long alone,
Somewhere just out of his reach,
A name, perhaps, forgotten home.
Just as is a painting stilled,
The colors that feed will bind.
This lonely life left locked away,
Within his world it's blind.
Marching down the path in time,
Towards the clearing just beyond,
There lies the king of time and hell,
And to my lonely life is fond.
He reigns the winter nights as sure
As lives are surely thin.
He craves the gutted souls of all,
And the faithless mind within.
