Dancing In Emptiness

Contributed by blueheart on Wednesday, 23rd June 2004 @ 09:47:48 PM in AEST
Topic: ambiguous

Do I savor the silence that lingers,
And abide in it with gracious eyes,
Or shall I resent the unwanted solitude,
And dwell in my own spiteful replies.

Should I dance alone in this emptiness,
Rejuvenating my mind as I muse,
Or shall I sink in scenes of hopelessness,
Happiness will exist based on what I choose.

A positive mind exudes great hope.
A negative thought burns the soul.

Always go for the positive, my friend. The ions are much kinder spiritually, physically and mentally. Use the silence as a time to grow within yourself and learn who and what you are so that you will be a stronger person when life is not so quiet.

This is ever so wise and true! Do you consider life to be a half empty or a half full glass of water?
I loved reading it!
Hugs,

A negative thought burns the soul. What a powerful message! You've done well with this blueheart. Thanks, I needed this message at this time. June

It's interesting that you perceive life's emptiness irregardless of positive/negative attitude. But I like the way you can beautify that emptiness which is such a common source of despair for most people. Awesome poem, I love your take on the situation.
