Why do you deny us this right
This is why we must unite and fight
Why must you deny this right to me
Just because I love differently
Cant you see
People like me,
We’ll unite and fight
Oppression and Discrimination
This is the land of the free?
Then why wont you let us be?
Why wont you let us marry
And choose the life we want to carry.

Amen. I dont understand why they treat anyone differently, they just dont understand. I have homosexual freinds and its sad to think that they might never be able to legally marry, they should deserve to wear a wedding band just like everyone else.
Very well written. Thank you for posting this, maybe it will open some eyes.

| I feel the same way too. I know a lot of great homosexual people, and I hate how they always get stereotyped. I think it is completely stupid how homosexuals cant get married. They're just like anyone else. Grrr, Congress makes me so mad! So does George Bush, but that's a different story. :) Anyways, I just want to say best of luck to you, and I hope that someday, our shallow congress will let you get married. You totally deserve it! |
