Good morning sunshine, where have you been?
I haven't seen you for almost a year
Hello happiness, where did you go?
I haven't felt you for quite a long time
Depression is fading into drops of light
But darkness still fills my night
During the day I laugh and I smile
But at night, that's when I frown and cry
Hiding my face in every shadow
Looking toward a brighter tomorrow
Yesterday follows me and weighs on my mind
My thoughts are still dark most of the time
Nothing's the same
But nothing has changed
The word nothing
Is tattooed on my face
Being the loser most of my life
Has taught me how to deal with life
Disappointment doesn't surprise me
Rejection never shocks me
I know nothing's perfect
I know nothing fits
To describe myself in one word...
Nothing

well... this poem sure the hell isn't 'nothing'.... it's fantastic! You put into words what some people fumble to speak.. great write!
